Kim Seon Ho has been cast for his project since his controversy and he’s going back to his roots.

On May 13, it was revealed that Kim Seon Ho was cast in an upcoming theater play called “Touching The Void,” the play is coming to Daehak-ro Art One Theater in July.

The play is based on the true story of two climbers who embark on a journey no others have attempted before. The story is about Joe Simpson and Simon Yates who become the first ever to successfully climb the west face of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in the year 1985.

Kim Seon Ho joins Shin Sung Min and Lee Hwai Jong, he’s taking on the role of Joe Simpson.

Kim Seon Ho began his acting journey doing various plays and fans are happy to see him return to his roots.

Recently, Kim Seon Ho returned to social media to apologize to his fans, many believe it was related to the controversy that happened last year. In late 2021, Kim Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend; Choi Young Ah; came out with scathing allegations against him, she accused him of forcing her to have an abortion and of gaslighting her. It ended with Kim Seon Ho’s apology and admission to what she wrote. Subsequently, Kim Seon Ho was dropped from his upcoming projects and lost many of his existing advertisement deals.

Things changed when on October 26 of 2021 Dispatch released the full record of what they claim to be the timeline of Kim Seon Ho’s relationship with his ex. This led to the public shifting gears and siding with him. On November 1, they also came back with a new report that further discredits her post. Despite getting cleared from the allegations against him, he’s been out of the limelight since the incident happened.
