tvN has released a new teaser for their upcoming drama “Yumi’s Cells 2”!

Yumi’s Cells” is based on the hit webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi (Kim Go Eun) and from the point of view of her brain cells that control her every thought, feeling, and action. The first season’s finale aired on October 30, 2021, and the final episode hinted at the second season which is finally happening.

The newly released teaser begins with Yumi’s co-worker Yoo Babi (GOT7’s Jinyoung) asking her to wait for him, his eyes meet hers in a heart-fluttering way that it even makes the cells excited. He then smiles at her when he realizes that she did wait for him, expressing his happiness to her by saying, “I am glad that you waited for me.”

We then see shots of Babi talking with Yumi and calling her name, making her heart skip a beat and her cells explode from excitement due to his sweet and gentle nature. However, even though Yumi keeps experiencing these moments with Babi, she doesn’t feel like she is ready for anything to happen between them.

Yumi then discovers that her other co-worker Ruby (Lee Yoo Bi) is going to set up Babi for a blind date. This makes Yumi nervous as she quickly gulps down her beer, the news of Bbabi potentially going on a blind date turned her cell village into a sea of tears. At the end of the video we see Yumi suddenly sprinting down the road, raising curiosity about whether this will be the moment Yumi will take an action or not.
