Kim Sejeong has chosen her next drama!
On March 25, it was confirmed that Kim Sejeong will be leading the new SBS drama “Today’s Webtoon,” which is a remake of a Japanese drama “Sleepeeer Hit!” It was also reported last year that actor Nam Yoon Su is in talks to star in this drama.
“Today’s Webtoon” tells the story of a former judo athlete who after getting injured was forced to give up on sports, she later gets a job in the webtoon editorial department where she struggles to grow as a true webtoon editor.
Kim Sejeong will play On Ma Eum, she is a new employee who got a job as a webtoon editor after giving up sports due to an injury. She will have to grow and overcome the hardships that come with this job.
Kim Sejeong is currently starring in the hit SBS drama “A Business Proposal,” where she plays Shin Ha Ri, the drama is doing very well in ratings and has crossed the double digits again with their recent episode.
“Today’s Webtoon” is set to air some time in the second half of this year.
