Lee Sang Yi has joined the lineup for the highly anticipated drama “Hometown ChaChaCha” which also stars Shin Min Ah And Kim Seon Ho.
The drama tells the love story set in the seaside village of Gongjin. Lee Sang Yi is taking on the role of Ji Sung Hyun, a star producer who’s hand is known for its Midas touch. He has a warm character with a bright personality but he’s a workaholic.
Lee Sang Yi is currently starring in “Youth of May” and has been gaining attention for his acting chops.
“Hometown ChaChaCha” will be written by Shin Ha Eun, who previously co-wrote “The Crowned Clown,” and directed by Yoo Je Won who worked on “Oh My Ghostess” and “Tomorrow With You.”
The drama is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year via tvN and joins the list of one of the most anticipated kdramas of 2021.
