The 2021 Billboard Music Awards has officially announced this year’s nominees and several Kpop groups have snagged nominations.
On April 29, the Billboard Music Awards unveiled the nominees list and many kpop fans have celebrated the nominations.
BTS has been nominated for four different awards this year, setting a new personal record for the most nominations they’ve ever received for a Billboard Music Awards show.
BTS was nominated for Top Duo/Group award, Top Social Artist award, both of which they’ve won awards for previously. They’ve also been nominated for Top Song Sales Artist award and the Top Selling Song award, marking it the first time they’ve been nominated in those two categories.
BLACKPINK And SEVENTEEN also earned a nomination for the first time ever at the Billboard Music Awards. They’re up against BTS Ariana Grande, and SB19 for Top Social Artist
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards will air live on May 23 at 8 p.m. ET.
