Former AOA Member Kwon Mina has terminated her contract with the management agency Woori Actors.
On September 26, a source from the agency told media outlets that their exclusive contract with Kwon Mina was terminated earlier this month.
They revealed that Kwon Mina wishes to focus on her health and on regaining peace and after many discussions with her; they decided to respect her wishes and terminate the contract. They brought an end to the contract after Mina’s recent birthday celebration. Kwon Mina is planning on taking a break and focusing on resting for the time being.
The idol-turned-actress had signed a contract with the agency four months earlier.
Earlier this summer, Mina was rushed to the hospital after attempting to take her own life. Since then, she’s been focusing on her recovery and receiving therapy.
