SM Entertainment has shared an exciting update about Wendy’s health with fans.
On August 19, fans were thrilled when they saw Wendy posing with the rest of Red Velvet members for the cover of BoA’s “Milky Way,” a part of a project celebrating their fellow labelmate 20th debut anniversary. It became Wendy’s first-ever promotional activity in 2020 following an injury she suffered in December of 2019.
Later in the day, a source from SM Entertainment confirmed Wendy’s return stating to news outlets that she has recovered well and will participate in her group’s future activities in ways that don’t cause too much strain on her health.
Fans welcomed Wendy back and trended her name on twitter to celebrate her return. Red Velvet’s “Milky Way” cover will be released on August 21 at 6 p.m. KST.
