Was “Goblin” Cast Friendship Just For Show? Kim Go Eun Answers The Burning Question

Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In are currently promoting their upcoming movie; they recently appeared on “Happy Together,” where they discussed the hit drama “Goblin.”

Turns out Kim Go Eun knew of one of the show MCs, Jo Se ho, she says she knew of him because of “Goblin” cast. She said,

“Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook contacted me suggesting we have a drink together for the first time in a while, I was on my way to see a friend so I stopped by for a bit and Jo Se Ho was there.”

The hosts asked her to comment on the rumors that the cast had a ‘show window’ friendship, where the cast pretends to be close to better promote a drama but will not meet up and interact after the drama ends. Kim Go Eun says that’s not true and that the cast is still close, she says she also often goes to Yoo In Na’s home.

She also says the team had a similar way of joking around which was why they got close while shooting, she says that they’d tease her about different things and when they would be nicer than usual to her she’d be shocked and answer back nicely thinking it was for a making-of video.

Do you miss “Goblin”?

  1. Heard otherwise. I heard the lead actor did not appreciate the young actress’s “unprofessional”behavior that he let her know of his displeasure. The video also mentioned that the ml ead actor was very blunt about his disapproval of the young actress’s behavior and was clear about his thoughts about this. Worse of all, he compared her to the other sctress stated that the other actress was much better than her. Even if that was so, this is not something you say in everybody’s presence. I used to think this sctor was hanndsome, mature and worth seeing everytime I see one of his dramas, but I don’t like him anymore after the video. Given his influence, he influenced at other work, and indeed, she did not work for sometime after that very successful drama. The video was very revealing of the actor’s behavior behind the scenes. That’s what I call unprofessional. It was very disappointing to read that about a “mature” actor.
