Its been reported that former Wanna One member Lai Kuanlin requested his contract with Cube Entertainment to be terminated!
According to multiple Korean news outlets starting with an exclusive report by SPO TV News on July 20, Lai Kuanlin recently filed for certification of contents and asked for the termination of his exclusive contract with his label.
A source told SPO TV News that the idol is currently looking to pursue activities independently without the help of Cube.
As a response to the news, Cube Entertainment initially released a short statement confirming they did indeed received a certification of contents and they will be releasing a statement later.
Lai Kuanlin has been promoting as a soloist and part of a unit group with PENTAGON’s Wooseok after Wanna One disbandment earlier this year. He is also actively pursuing his activities in China and was cast as the lead in the Chinese drama “A Little Thing Called Love.”
