Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo marriage is over!
On June 27, it was announced that Song Joong Ki has filed for divorce from Song Hye Kyo. His attorney told news outlets that his law firm has filed for divorce on the behalf of their client at the Seoul Family Court on June 26.
In addition to the shocking news, the attorney also relayed what Song Joong Ki wanted to tell fans.
In his official statement through his lawyer he starts off by apologizing,
“First of all, I would like to apologize to the many fans who loved and cherished me, for delivering such unfortunate news.”
In his official statement, he explains that he filed for divorce from Song Hye Kyo and they have decided to reached the settlement amicably. He asked for fans’ understanding. As for the reasons, the actor relayed that its difficult to reveal them as its their private lives.
The couple met on the set of “Descendants Of The Sun” and got married on October 31st, 2017. Its been less than 2 years since they’ve officially tied the knot, fans are shocked to hear the news.
