It has been revealed that Actor Sung Joon had quietly enlisted in the military today on December 18.
His agency, ONO Entertainment released an official statement to media outlets confirming he has enlisted as an active duty soldier today, he enlisted through the army’s 2nd division island new recruit training center in the Gangwon province.
After finishing his basic military training he will receive his station. His agency apologized and explained that they relayed the message this way because the actor wished to enlist quietly in the military, they asked fans to continue cheering him on.
His latest drama was 2017’s “Perfect Wife” which he led, he is expected to be discharged in 2020.
