YG Entertainment Announces Strict Legal Action On The Behalf Of Their Artists

YG Entertainment has released a new statement announcing their plans to take strict legal action for various matters involving their idols.

In the newly released statement on October 14, YG stated that there has been an increase in the number of rumors, personal attacks, insults, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy against their artists, and as a result, they have decided to take strict legal action.

Based on tips sent by fans, they have received many posts that violate their artists’ rights. They have been looking through the tips to determine what needs to be acted upon. They have filed criminal complaints and reports for violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (defamation), insult, and interference with business.

The agency also promises that if there continues to be severe defamation against their artists, they will continue to take strong legal action

Many fans are welcoming the news especially following the fake rumors that spread about BLACKPINK Jisoo allegedly dating a football player, YG has since denied the news.
