THE BOYZ’s Eric has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On January 24, THE BOYZ’s agency IST Entertainment announced through the group’s official fan cafe that Eric has tested positive for COVID-19.
The agency stated that Eric completed his third dose of the vaccine on 20 January but later took the test after learning that a friend of his friend who he had dinner with a while ago got diagnosed with COVID-19. The initial results came out negative on January 21. Eric joined his group’s activity afterward on 22 January after taking a self-test again which turned out to be negative.

THE BOYZ had a reality show scheduled to film on January 24, so Eric took the PCR test again on 23 January only for it to turn out positive this time. As a result, THE BOYZ and the staff will all got tested for COVID-19, they will share the results once it comes out.
