The MMA 2023 (Melon Music Awards)’ will be held this December!
On October 19, Melon has announced that the MMA 2023 will be held at the Inspire Arena on December 2nd.
MMA 2023 will be held at Inspire Arena, the first K-POP dedicated arena in Yeongjong Island, Incheon. It will provide an environment that can accommodate not only domestic music fans but also international K-POP fans who enter through Incheon International Airport. It is also the first award ceremony and festival held at Inspire Arena.
The slogan for MMA 2023 is ‘K-POP CHANGES the WORLD’, which means to enjoy the moment when everyone’s cheers become everyone’s enthusiasm and to meet the great power of music that unites the world through MMA 2023.
Furthermore, this year, the growing influence of K-POP will be celebrated more diversely through new awards. The ‘Millions TOP10’ award, which will be introduced for the first time at MMA 2023, will select the TOP10 from the ‘Millions Album (albums that achieved over 1 million streams within 24 hours)’ TOP30 in Melon’s Hall of Fame, through fan voting.
Meanwhile, ‘MMA 2023’ will be broadcast live on Wavve in addition to the Melon app and web.
