SM Entertainment Announces Strict Legal Action To Protect Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon After Recent Dating Rumors

SM Entertainment has released a statement asking for fans’ cooperation in tracking down malicious comments, statements, accusations, and posts of slander on online communities.

In their statement, they explain how such comments have been damaging their artist and is affecting their mental state, they’re currently collecting data to later file with their attorney, Kim & Chang law firm. They asked for fans cooperation in submitting such illegal acts by January 3 to their email so they could look over it and review what action to take.

They ended their statement stressing that they’re continuously taking action and monitoring online comments and will carry out a ‘zero tolerance’ policy against such commenters.

Recently, a report came out that alleged Taeyeon and VIXX’ Ravi had been dating, later, both agencies issued a response denying the rumors and stating they’re simply close friends who are working on new music.

Fans believe this statement is in response to the recent flood of online hate comments following the rumors.
