Rapper Big Naughty (Seo Dong-hyun) mentioned the incident where he left the stage to engage in skinship with his girlfriend which caused him severe backlash a couple of months back.
Recently, a video titled “Big Naughty Reveals His Whereabouts for the First Time | King-receiving News Show EP.49 Big Naughty Edition” was uploaded on YouTube channel ‘Hey News.’
On this day, Big Naughty directly mentioned the incident where he engaged in skinship with his girlfriend during a performance.
Big Naughty had caused controversy when he suddenly turned towards the back of the stage at Seoul Olympic Park during the ‘Tone and Music Festival 2023’ and engaged in skinship with his girlfriend before returning to the stage.
Afterwards, Big Naughty apologized through a live broadcast and a handwritten apology letter, stating, “I sincerely apologize for the reckless attitude and immature actions that needlessly caused trouble.”
Big Naughty opened up, saying, “This song was completed on the day before the performance.”
Big Naughty explained the situation, saying, “When I performed with this song while my emotions were still fresh, I got absorbed in it.”
The MC asked, “I understand the situation. You went out to recharge your energy and then came back in. Was that all planned?” To this, Big Naughty responded in surprise, saying, “That’s something that can never be planned. It naturally happened as I imagined myself performing on stage in a cool way.”
Big Naughty then lowered his head and said, “It was a reckless action done with an immature mind. I am sorry.”
In addition, Big Naughty revealed that he is still in a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend. When asked if he can still talk to his girlfriend, Big Naughty replied, “It’s dawn in Vancouver right now,” revealing that they are still continuing their relationship.
Big Naughty also expressed his affection for his girlfriend, saying, “The song I sang during the performance is a song about long-distance relationships.”
