Police Considering Imposing A Travel Ban On Lee Sun Kyun And Gdragon
The police are planning to impose a travel ban on actor Lee Sun Kyun (48) and G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong, 35), who are suspected of drug use.
A police official stated in a phone call with Mydaily on the 26th of October, “We are considering travel bans for Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon.” It was reported that they are currently staying in the country, and their place of residence has been identified.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit has recently booked Doctor A, who reportedly provided drugs to Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon, without receiving any separate payment, to investigate the process of drug delivery.
The police are focusing on investigating how Doctor A obtained drugs and the amount, as well as whether there are other drug suppliers involved in the case besides Doctor A.
However, the police stated that there is no evidence that Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon took drugs together.
The police plan to obtain and execute a search and seizure warrant to determine the period of drug use for Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon, including examining their hair, etc.
Meanwhile, the entertainment industry is in turmoil due to the drug use allegations against Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon. After news of their booking spread, rumors began circulating that top-level idols, famous female idols, and former idol actresses were also involved in the police investigation, causing only innocent victims to suffer.
The entertainment industry itself has also been hit hard. The stock prices of major entertainment agencies are facing a decline, and the aftermath is causing a significant impact.
