NCT’s Haechan is taking a break for the time being!
On January 9, SM Entertainment issued two separate statements addressing the heath of Haechan to NCT 127 and NCT DREAM’s Weverse. The agency announces he’s taking a break to focus on his health.
Here is what they wrote,
Hello. We would like to update you on NCT Haechan’s health condition and future schedule.
During his schedule in Japan, Haechan experienced symptoms of high fever and a severe cold, so he returned to Korea on the 8th and visited a hospital. The medical examination revealed that he has severe tonsillitis and requires sufficient rest and stability. Therefore, Haechan plans to take a break for a while to recover quickly.
Unfortunately, Haechan will not be able to attend the ‘Circle Chart Music Awards 2023’ scheduled for January 10th (Wednesday). As a result, NCT DREAM members Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung will attend the event. We kindly ask for your understanding.
The decision on Haechan’s participation in future schedules will depend on his recovery status, and we will provide further updates regarding this matter.
We apologize for causing concern to the fans, and we will do our best to ensure that Haechan can meet the fans in a healthy state again.
