Infinite members have expressed Their Thoughts on Returning as a Full Group After 5 Years!
On the 31st of July, Infinite held a press conference to commemorate the release of their seventh mini-album, ’13egin,’ at The Riverside Hotel in Seoul, where they shared their thoughts on the new album.
INFINITE made their comeback as a full group after about 5 years since their last full group activity with the release of their third full-length album, ‘Top Seed,’ in 2018. The members expressed their feelings about this long-awaited moment, saying, “It’s a time we’ve been eagerly waiting for. We’re grateful for all the attention. We truly love Infinite. We take pride in it, and wehave confidence. We prepared diligently for this comeback, so please give us a lot of love.”
INFINITE’s new album, ’13egin,’ signifies their 13th debut anniversary by using the letter ‘B’ in ‘Begin’ as the number ’13,’ heralding the glorious second act of Infinite.
Kim Sung Gyu, a member of the group, talked about the part they put the most effort into for this album, saying, “This album is the first one we’ve made where we decided everything, even though we’ve been active for 13 years. That aspect wasn’t easy. We had a lot of discussions among ourselves. Despite our busy schedules, we listened to nearly 100 demo songs together, voted, and made decisions. It was a process that required a lot of contemplation from us. It was fun, but not easy, and it made us feel even more proud.”
Kim Myung Soo added, “Since it’s been 5 years, we focused on enjoying our activities. It was fun to be together after such a long time. Just seeing each other’s faces during the preparation was enjoyable. I want to express my gratitude to the representatives of each company who allowed us to promote as Infinite together after a long time.”
