Singer BamBam shared a behind-the-scenes story of receiving help from Hwasa.
On September 15th, BamBam appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM’s “Two O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show” for the segment “Don’t Do It!” along with Sandara Park.
On this day, BamBam revealed that he and Hwasa were neighbors in the past. Before moving, they lived next door for about four and a half years. When Kwak Beom mentioned, “I know BamBam’s house. It’s a steep uphill, but there was a heating wire, so how did you manage to climb it in the winter?” BamBam responded positively, saying, “That house was really nice. We both benefited from living there.”
BamBam also shared an anecdote about receiving help from his neighbor Hwasa. He said, “If I go out to the balcony of that house and the door closes, I can’t open it from the outside. It was during Chuseok, and I received some mushrooms and was grilling them outside. I was happily enjoying them alone. But when I finished eating and tried to go back inside, the door wouldn’t open. I wanted to call 119 (emergency services), but I had never made a phone call before and was scared, and my manager was taking a break for Chuseok. So, I called Hwasa through a dancer who overlapped with me and asked her to enter my house number and to save me. At that time, Hwasa came to my house and opened the door for me. It was our first meeting.”
BamBam added that at the time, he and Hwasa were not close and didn’t talk much, saying, “After that incident, we grew even further apart,” and brought laughter with his behind-the-scenes story.
