Singer Seo In Young has directly addressed the divorce rumors surrounding her husband, Mr. A.
On the 19th of September, in a phone interview with Ilgan Sports, Seo In Young said, “I am very surprised to see the divorce lawsuit as a news article. Recently, my husband unilaterally said things like ‘we have personality differences’ and ‘we don’t match’ along with the suggestion to separate, but we have not discussed the lawsuit directly.”
With a confused tone, Seo In Young continued, “This situation seems sudden, and I think I need to understand the circumstances. I have no intention of divorcing my husband. There have been no unpleasant incidents between us. We plan to talk more about it.”
Earlier on the same day, a media outlet reported that Mr. A had filed for divorce against Seo In Young. Despite marrying in February, they reportedly faced divorce just seven months later.
Seo In Young had previously commented on her relationship with non-celebrity Mr. A, saying, “Marriage was something I didn’t think about, but I found a precious relationship. We cherish and love each other as we are. Now, as a family, we want to move forward happily.”
Seo In Young made her debut in the music industry in 2002 as a member of the girl group Jewelry. In 2009, she transitioned to a solo singer after leaving Jewelry. Given her appearances with her husband on various entertainment programs, this news has saddened her fans even more.
