Boy group EXO member Baekhyun has established an independent label and embarks on a new leap with Xiumin and Chen.
Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen (CBX) announced their official start of independent label ‘I&B 100’ on the 8th of January, promising diverse activities. Individual activities under the independent label will be carried out based on mutual agreement with SM Entertainment.
As a result, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen’s individual activities and their activities as CBX will be carried out under ‘I&B 100,’ while their group activities as EXO will continue under SM Entertainment. ‘I&B 100’ is expected to create synergy through close collaboration. The members are determined to continue protecting the group ‘EXO’ and wholeheartedly contribute as members without change.
The independent label ‘I&B 100’ stated, “This challenge is based on the members’ efforts and sincerity to approach fans in a more creative and intimate way,” and requested warm encouragement and support for their challenges and growth. They also added, “We also request unwavering support for EXO as the foundation for all the members and their group activities.”
‘I&B 100′ plans to revive the members’ musical individuality and colors, engage in creative attempts and experiments to communicate with fans in various ways, and even fulfill each member’s long-standing dream of production and producing.
As a result, both the members’ individual album activities and CBX’s team album activities will be more actively introduced from this year, creating expectations for meetings, communication, and expanding connections with domestic and international fans through good music and stages.
‘I&B 100′ is particularly expected to amplify expectations as it plans to showcase the members’ producing abilities and production skills that have not been shown before.
