DRIPPIN Alex Leaves Group And Agency, Why?

Group DRIPPIN’s Alex is leaving the team.

On the 28th of July, their agency, Woollim Entertainment, announced the news via an official statement. The agency expressed deep gratitude to Alex for being with them and stated that they will cherish all the moments they shared together and always support and cheer for Alex’s new future.

They further revealed that DRIPPIN will continue their activities with six members and asked for continued interest and love from fans.

Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.
First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have always shown endless love and support to our artists. We would like to provide an official statement regarding the future activities of DRIPPIN member, Alex.
Alex, a member of DRIPPIN, and our company have been engaged in discussions for a long time regarding his personal career path.
After careful consideration and discussion with Alex and his parents, Alex has decided to conclude his activities as a member of DRIPPIN and terminate his exclusive contract with our company.
We want to express our deep appreciation to Alex for being with us, and we will cherish all the moments we shared together. We will always support and cheer for Alex’s new journey.
Furthermore, DRIPPIN will continue their activities with six members (Hwang Yunseong, Lee Hyeop, Joo Changwook, Kim Dongyun, Kim Minseo, and Cha Junho).
We ask for your continued interest and love.

Previously, on January 26 of this year, DRIPPIN’s agency Woollim Entertainment announced that Alex recently showed signs of poor health condition, so they discussed this with him and his parents, and decided to temporarily suspend his activities in order to recover his health for the time being.

DRIPPIN made their debut in the K-pop industry in October 2020 with their mini 1st album “Boyager.” Since then, they have released tracks like “Young Blood,” “Free Pass,” “Villain,” “ZERO,” “The One,” and “SEVEN SINS.”
