Cube Entertainment Briefly Comments On BTOB’s Contract Renewal Status After Media Outlets Report Difficulties In Reaching A Decision
Whats the current status of BTOB’s contract renewal? Cube Entertainment released a response!
On the 1st of November, it was reported that BTOB has not reached an agreement ahead of their second contract renewal. According to the report, although the contract period for some members has expired, BTOB has yet to confirm their next move. One media outlet reported that 5 out of 6 have not decided to renew their contracts yet.
In response, their agency Cube Entertainment stated, “The contract period for some BTOB members has not ended yet, so we plan to do our best until the expiration date. BTOB members are currently exploring various directions and organizing the situation.”
Regarding the rumor that the members have been contacting other agencies and demanding a group contract fee of 6 billion won [$4.4 million], the agency stated, “The contract fee of 6 billion won is an amount unrelated to our position.”
Meanwhile, BTOB debuted in March 2012 and since then, they have released numerous hit songs.
Especially, all members possess outstanding vocal skills and have shown remarkable performance in their individual activities through variety shows and dramas. Additionally, BTOB renewed their contract with Cube Entertainment in 2018, demonstrating their strong friendship.
