Singer Choi Ye Na will make a comeback with a new album this January.

On January 2, Choi Ye Na released a poster of Coming Soon on her official SNS at midnight. The poster released shows a couple holding each other’s hands in the background. It gave off an indication that the two were walking together on a dark night, creating a warm and cozy mood. On top of that, the phrase “2023.01.16. 6 PM [KST] RELEASE” was added to announce Choi Ye Na’s comeback.

As a result, Choi Ye Na will return with a new album in about five months after releasing her second mini-album “SMART PHONE” in August last year. Choi Ye Na, who made a fresh start with her first mini-album “Smiley” last year, showed a great performance as a female solo artist in the music industry about a year after her solo debut, achieving notable results such as ranking first in the charts and music broadcasts.

In addition, Choi Ye Na, who has established herself as a ‘next-generation entertainment idol’ after receiving many offers from various entertainment programs, made 2022 her year by spreading her unique positive energy through songs and broadcasts.

In response, she won the most influential “Female Solo Singer,” “Entertainment Idol,” and “Solo Artist” categories at the “2022 Brand Awards” and the “Best Musician” at the “2022 Asia Artist Awards in Japan.”

Choi Ye Na, who was born in 1999, announced her comeback as soon as the year 2023 began, drawing keen expectations from fans. According to her agency, Choi Ye Na is working hard on the final preparations for the album, determined to make it her year this year just like last year.

The agency said, “Choi Ye Na will show a good performance after returning back for fans’ love this year. She will perform like an ‘MZ generation wannabe’ in this comeback, so please look forward to it and show a lot of love.”
