The security guard of the group BOYNEXTDOOR has apologized for excessive force against a fan.

KOZ Entertainment, the agency of BOYNEXTDOOR, stated on the 19th of December, “We apologize to the fans for the incident that occurred due to the inappropriate behavior of the security guard who was performing security duties for BOYNEXTDOOR at Chingdao Airport on the 16th.”

Recently, controversy arose when a video of BOYNEXTDOOR’s security guard pushing and knocking over a female fan who was following the members with a camera spread online.

KOZ Entertainment added, “We will make every effort to strengthen security guidance and education for the security personnel to prevent such issues from happening again” and bowed their heads in apology to the fans once again.

They also explained, “We have personally apologized to the person who was directly harmed and are inquiring about their well-being, including their mental health and the condition of their belongings, for post-care. We have taken measures to prevent the deployment of the security personnel involved in future artist events.”
