BLACKPINK continue to break records on YouTube!

On August 17, YG Entertainment announced that as of 9 a.m. KST on August 16, BLACKPINK had surpassed 44 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel. This is a huge milestone because they surpassed Eminem who had 43.9 million subscribers on YouTube.

BLACKPINK has become the most subscribed-to female artist on the platform and the 4th most subscribed-to artist on the platform as well. BLACKPINK was already the most subscribed to Kpop artist on YouTube, they had reached that milestone a while ago.

This is made even more special due to the fact that BLACKPINK was able to achieve this in only four years, and it’s been a year and a half since they entered the U.S market.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will release their upcoming single featuring Selena Gomez on August 28.
