BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon announced various activities, including a new album in 2023, raising expectations from global music fans.
On January 1st, YG Entertainment released a video containing G-Dragon’s short interview through BIGBANG’s official SNS. This is a surprise video prepared by G-Dragon for the fans to celebrate the New Year.
Standing in front of the camera as if embarrassed, G-Dragon expressed his delight, saying, “It’s been a while since I’ve been visiting fans like this. I haven’t been able to communicate much in the meantime.”
Last year, G-Dragon released ‘Still Life’ as a member of BIGBANG and showed his potential by topping major music charts in Korea. He recalled, “I couldn’t meet the fans or come to see them on stage.”
G-Dragon, who has solidified himself, plans to repay fans’ love in 2023. He said, “I would like to borrow this seat to say that I will work hard next year.”
He added, “You worked hard in 2022. This year, I hope you will be even healthier and have a happy new year.”
