Bang Ye Dam Confirmed To Make Solo Debut

Bang Ye Dam will debut as a solo artist under his new agency.

On October 31, GF Entertainment, the agency, announced, “Bang Ye Dam will release a pre-release song on November 10th and his first mini-album on November 23rd.”

Previously, Bang Ye Dam received high praise as the “Korea’s Justin Bieber” and “Little Michael Jackson” with his attractive voice and performances, finishing as the runner-up in SBS’ ‘K-Pop Star Season 2’ in 2013. Afterwards, he debuted as a member of the group TREASURE and received much love from fans around the world.

In 2022, he announced the end of his journey with YG Entertainment, with whom he had been together for a long time, and hinted at a leap as a producer and solo artist with his unique musical color.

GF Entertainment, the agency that Bang Ye Dam signed with, is also home to the group Kingdom. In particular, GF Entertainment’s CEO Nam Gung Chan is a veteran producer in the music industry who has worked with numerous musicians, including IU management at Loen Entertainment.

Due to his participation in writing and composing songs for various artists, Bang Ye Dam has showcased his skills as a producer, raising even higher expectations for his solo debut.

Bang Ye Dam stated, “The words ‘solo artist Bang Ye Dam’ still feel unfamiliar, and there is a great burden of filling the stage alone. However, I am excited to be able to show my own stage and feel a sense of responsibility. I would be grateful if you could look forward to seeing various sides of me in the future.”

Meanwhile, Bang Ye Dam plans to sequentially announce the schedule for his first mini-album through official social networking services.
