Moonbin‘s mother expressed concern over rumors surrounding her deceased son.
On the 13th of June, Moonbin’s mother stated in ASTRO’s official fan cafe, “I am aware that everyone mourns and misses my son, so I have witnessed the production of baseless rumors in some small online communities.”
She continued, “As a mother, it is difficult for me to see these rumors, and I am worried that these unfounded rumors may hurt people and the sincere feelings of fans who genuinely miss our son.”
She then made an earnest request, saying, “I hope that my son’s name will not be used in gossip, and I sincerely ask that no more unconfirmed facts and rumors be spread. I hope that the fans who loved Moonbin so much do not suffer from a heavy heart. Thank you sincerely for your thoughts.”
Her plea comes in response to some fans’ criticism that ASTRO’s agency, Fantagio, pushed forward with demanding schedules despite Moonbin’s alleged health struggles before his passing.
In certain online communities, there were posts demanding an explanation from Fantagio regarding the decision to continue with unit activities instead of group activities for ASTRO, expressing the opinions of some fans who questioned the background of this decision while discussing the said allegations.
