Veteran Entertainer And TV Show Host Heo Cham has passed away, the news has shocked the Korean entertainment industry.
On February 1, it was revealed that Heo Cham had passed away earlier in the day after battling liver cancer. He was 73 years old.
Heo Cham is well-known in the industry, he’s the original host of the long-running KBS program “Family Arcade” and has served as the host for many popular variety shows during his career.
A close source to Heo Cham told Sports Kyunghyang that he kept his battle with liver cancer a secret until the very end, he tried his best to recover and it appears he was afraid of burdening those around him which is why he chose to keep it a secret. According to the source, Heo Cham was doing okay until December of 2021 when his health took a turn for the worse.
