Earlier today, Netflix released part 1 of “Gyeongseong Creature,” this is a recap of its finale and its ending explained!

“Gyeongseong Creature” part 1 episode 7 recap
The episode begins with Chae-Ok searching for Tae-Sang, she then finds him inside an abandoned building, he asks to be saved and collapses on her shoulder before transforming into a monster.
Nawol-daek brings out one of their most prized possessions and sells it to help retrieve Kwon Joon-Taek back who is brought back to his father, but very traumatized.
The Joseon escapees begins descending one by one but they make a sound while escaping so one solider hears it, he goes to investigate and is shot by one of the escapees. now the Japanese soldiers are onto them.
They barricade the place, Chae-Ok, Tae-Sang and that solider who shot the Japanese solider all try to protect the place. However, the young soldier is fatefully shot dead. before he dies, he tells his name and asks for his mother to be told of what happened.
Commissioner Ishikawa asks Director Ichiro whats going on in the hospital, he refuses to say anything and tells him to refer to his wife if he’d like to know whats going on.
Tae-Sang then tells Chae-Ok to escape too as the truck is about to leave and has to leave at the exact agreed upon time. When she gets down, she finds out he’s not coming.
Tae-Sang stalls the troops and fights them off, he then gets into the vents to run away from them while the truck left. He then falls on the top of a pile of a lot of human remains.
Myeong-Ja is then returned to Commissioner Ishikawa who orders a military truck after them. The truck chases everyone back to the city.
Meanwhile, Lt. Kato investigates what happened and he’s told 4 people were in this room, one of them drank from the water that contained the specimen.
Barely, the truck filled with the escaped manages to avoid being caught, when the truck is finally caught, they have disappeared along with it.
After he fell, Tae-Sang sees another military leader who caught him there, he shoots him dead. He then escapes, barely, and badly hurt.
Yukiko Maeda is told her husband won’t return and thus, she finds out his mistress is back. she goes to scold Director Ichiro and tells him to step down, he begs for a 2nd chance, he shows her the advancements they made and how the monster came out to be.
they sedated the monster with nitrogen again and it’s asleep, it’s the woman Director Ichiro was told to pay special attention to.
We then find out the person who drank the ‘water’ was Myeong-Ja.
