KBS2’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “The Matchmakers” has premiered and its rating have become a topic of discussion already!

According to Nielsen Korea, Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun’s “The Matchmakers” premiered to an average nationwide rating of 4.5%. This is already higher than the highest rating its predecessor “My Lovely Boxer” achieved.

This particular KBS time slot has been struggling for some time, and despite bringing on various famous Korean actors for projects to revive it, KBS plans for this year have seen diminished returns.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Twinkling Watermelon” stayed steady with 3.3% in ratings while ENA’s “Evilive,” which had changed its time slot due to competition in the weekend drama, achieved 1.27%.
