The reason why actress Jung Yu Mi was absent from the production briefing of the movie ‘Wonderland’ has been revealed.
On the 9th of May, her agency Management Soop stated, ” Jung Yu Mi had plans to attend the production briefing of the movie ‘Wonderland,’ but her condition worsened in the early morning, so she couldn’t attend.”
They added, “She seems to have put too much strain on her body recently while fulfilling her schedule,” and expressed her apologies for not being able to be present.
On this day, the production briefing for the film ‘Wonderland’ was held. Lead actors Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo Gum, and Choi Woo sik attended, Jung Yu Mi’s absence raised curiosity.
It was reported that Jung Yu Mi visited the emergency room due to a sudden drop in immune system function and poor physical condition in the early morning of the same day. Previously, she attended the ’60th Baeksang Arts Awards’ on the 7th and showed a bright smile.
Meanwhile, ‘Wonderland,’ which will be released on June 5th, tells the story of using the video call service ‘Wonderland’ to artificially restore a deceased person and reunite with their loved ones.
