Netflix’s “D.P. 2” has released a new video teaser and poster!

“D.P.” Season 2 is a Netflix series that tells the story of Jun-ho and Ho-yeol, members of the Deserter Pursuit (D.P.) unit, as they continue to confront the unchanged reality and absurdity.

The released poster features Jun-ho [played by Jung Hae In] wearing a crumpled hat, looking somewhere amidst armed soldiers. Although it has a similar composition to the Season 1 teaser poster, we can observe the changed face of Jun-ho, who was a new recruit but now lives as a member of D.P. The image of Jun-ho with a weary expression and the caption that reads “If you don’t do something, it will never change” raises curiosity about the ongoing story of these individuals.

The accompanying teaser trailer captures the repetition of absurdity and the unchanged reality even after the incident involving Private Jo Seok-bong. Kim Ru-ri, who suffered from internal cruelty and harassment, fires a gun at the fellow soldiers. The trailer draws attention to the extraordinary story that ordinary people, like the deserter who cannot go back, had to experience. It leaves viewers wondering where and how the story will unfold.

The dark expression of the exhausted D.P. team, worn out from endless pursuits, and the voice of Jo Seok-bong, whose life or death is unknown, saying that nothing has changed, once again resonates with the viewers. Director Han Jun-hee, who took charge of the screenplay and directing, expressed his affection for Season 2, saying, “Rather than trying to maintain or change something from the previous season, each character had a direction they wanted to go, and we tried to follow that direction well.” He described the series as a “living organism.”
“D.P.” Season 2, which will continue the unfinished story, is scheduled to be released on Netflix on July 28.
