The drama “My Dearest” has been confirmed for an extension.
MBC announced, “After careful consideration of the popular drama ‘My Dearest’, we have decided to extend it for one more episode.” They added, “We will put more effort into the important scenes in the later part of the story to enhance the quality and completeness of the drama.”
Receiving warm love from viewers, MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “My Dearest” has maintained the highest ratings in its time slot and topped the Friday-Saturday dramas, firmly holding its position against the competition.
Furthermore, in October, it was chosen as the “Most Beloved Program by Koreans,” solidifying its status as the trending drama. Now, My Dearest ends on November 18.
Regarding the decision to extend the broadcast, MBC stated, “As it is a decision made to properly depict the deepening love story of Jang-hyun and Gil-chae and the inner struggles of the prisoners, we ask for continued interest and love until the end.”
Meanwhile, MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “My Dearest” is a human historical melodrama that portrays the love between conflicting lovers and the vitality of the people amidst the turmoil of war.
