“Manhole” Becomes The Third Lowest Rated Public Channel Drama In Kdramas History
“Manhole” just can’t catch a break and probably won’t for the rest of its run.
Wednesday’s night ratings came out and according to Nielsen Korea, the drama rated a low of 2.2% becoming the lowest rated kdrama of 2017.
Now, the drama broke yet another record (not the one you expect), and became the third lowest rated public channel kdrama of all time.
They achieved this feat in Thursday’s episode; they rated 2% which is 0.2% lower than its previous episode. It stood no chance against any of the dramas airing during the same time.
It is currently one of the least favoured kdramas airing Wednesdays-Thursdays in South Korea. They tied in third place along with another drama.
The lowest rated drama in kdramas history was of KBS’s “Stupid Love”, it achieved a low of 1.8%, in second place is also KBS’s “Beyond the clouds” as well as “Sa Yuksin” they both rated a low of 1.9%.

“Manhole” tells the story of Bong Pil who has been preparing for his civil exam for the past 3 years, he is in love with Soo Jin (played by UEE).
When he finds out she’s getting married, he flips and tries to win her and stop the wedding. He travels through time and he begins his journey to win her heart.
