Lee Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, And Yoon Jong Hoon In Talks To Star In The Upcoming Drama By “The Penthouse” Creators Alongside Uhm Ki Joon
Lee Joon may be starring in the upcoming drama “The Escape of the Seven” alongside Uhm Ki Joon!
On July 14, it was reported by JoyNews24 that Lee Joon will be starring in the new SBS drama “The Escape of the Seven.” Lee Joon’s agency later clarified the reports and stated that the actor indeed received the offer to star in the upcoming drama and is now reviewing it.
“The Escape of the Seven” will be the director Joo Dong Min and scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok’s third work together, the duo previously worked on “The Last Empress,” and the hit drama series “The Penthouse.”
“The Escape of the Seven” tells the story of seven main characters with the details yet to be revealed. Uhm Ki Joon, who also starred in the series “The Penthouse,” has confirmed his appearance in the upcoming drama while Hwang Jung Eum and Yoon Jong Hoon are in talks to star in the drama. It was also reported that Shin Eun Kyung might be joining the cast.
Lee Joon’s latest drama KBS2’s “Bloody Heart” recently finished with its final episode recording the drama’s highest rating to date. The actor almost starred in director Joo Dong Min’s drama “Take Care of Us, Captain,” but eventually was unable to take on the role.
