The upcoming MBC drama, “Chief Detective 1958” is set to create another legend.
The teaser poster, unveiled on the 22nd of February, announces the resurrection of the legendary detective, “Detective Park,” whose first broadcast is scheduled for April 19th.
“Chief Detective 1958” serves as a prequel to the iconic Korean detective series “Chief Detective” and begins with Detective Park Young-han (played by Lee Je Hoon) being assigned to Seoul in 1958.
The drama unfolds the story of Park Young-han, a detective known for catching thieves in a barbaric era, as he teams up with three unique colleagues to break the unconventional norms of corrupt power, becoming a detective for the people.
The retro crime investigative drama, filled with the romance and joy of analog investigation, promises a unique catharsis for the younger generation and nostalgia for those remembering the exploits of “Detective Park.”
