Genie TV’s original drama “House With A Yard” has confirmed the casting of Kim Tae Hee, Lim Ji Yeon, Kim Sung Oh, and choi jae rim.
“house with a yard” (directed by jung ji hyeon, and written by gianni) is a drama based on the best-selling novel of the same name. it is a suspenseful family thriller about two women living completely different lives who meet due to a suspicious smell coming from the backyard.
kim tae hee takes on the role of ju ran, who begins to smell the suspicious smell in the backyard of her own house. ju ran, who used to live a picturesque life envied by everyone in a house with a yard, is disturbed by a strange smell in the backyard. with this, she takes on the mystery thriller genre for the first time.
lim ji yeon takes on the role of sang eun, a victim of domestic violence who dreams of escaping from the pitiful reality. sang eun, who lived in a shabby rented apartment and endured unsightly daily life, meets a turning point in her life when she meets ju ran by chance. expectations are high for the transformation of lim ji yeon, who caused yeon jin syndrome in korea after her villain role in “the glory”.
kim sung oh will play the role of ju ran’s husband, jae ho. jae ho is a talented perfectionist doctor who begins to clash with his wife, ju ran when a strange smell begins to emanate from the backyard. kim seong oh is going to show a soft but cool duality.
choi jae rim takes on the role of yoon beom, a pharmaceutical company employee and sang eun’s husband who abuses her. beyond musicals, his overwhelming energy and acting skills to be shown on the small screen amplify expectations.
