Actor Kim Min Jae has canceled his fan meeting as a tribute to the tragic incident of a student who lost their life on the way to Dongduk Women’s University.
On the 15th of June, Kim Min Jae’s agency announced the cancellation of his first fan meeting, titled ‘Telepathy: The Day I Want to Say and See.’
Earlier, a student from the Department of Child Studies at Dongduk Women’s University tragically passed away in an accident when a garbage truck driven by an elderly worker collided with her while she was on her way to school.
In light of this incident, the agency decided to cancel the fan meeting as a way to commemorate the student. They expressed their condolences and apologized to the fans, stating, “We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the unavoidable cancellation of the performance, which was decided with a heavy heart due to the accident related to the venue.”
The tickets for Kim Min-jae’s first fan meeting, originally scheduled to take place at 6 PM on the 17th at Dongduk Women’s University Centennial Memorial Hall, will be canceled and refunded.
