Former IOI member and actress Kang Mina is currently considering moving to a new agency.
A representative from Story J Company, which houses celebrities like Kim Tae Hee, Seo In Guk and more confirmed on the 15th of June, saying, “It is true that we had a meeting with Kang Mina. However, there are no specific details determined yet.”
Earlier on the same day, TV Daily reported that Kang Mina did not renew her contract with her current agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, and will be transferring to Story J Company.
Kang Mina gained fame after participating in Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 1” in 2016, where she debuted as a member of the project group IOI. She also joined the girl group Gugudan under Jellyfish Entertainment and actively promoted as a singer. After Gugudan disbanded, she has been pursuing her career as an actress.
