Jung Woo Sung has recently done an interview with Sung Si Kyung and talked about why he’s not married!
Recently, a video titled “Sung Si Kyung’s Meeting l My Youthful Jung Woo Sung in Front of Me..” was uploaded to Sung Si Kyung’s YouTube channel.
On that day, Sung Si Kyung mentioned the movie ‘Seoul’s Spring,’ in which Jung Woo Sung appeared, and praised it, saying, “As a Korean, it’s been a long time since I forgot about things and felt a bit frustrated and wanted to leave? That’s how well the movie was made.” Jung Woo Sung said, “The director didn’t want to pass judgment on historical events. He delved into exploring the nature of humans that exist there.”
In addition, Jung Woo Sung shared a memory from his past where he started working part-time at a hamburger restaurant at a young age. He mentioned that many female students came to see him. Jung Woo Sung felt uncomfortable with the popularity at the time and said, “The good thing was that the owner sister gave me extra bonus.” The hourly wage at that time was 800 won, but the bonus was 100,000 won.
Sung Si Kyung asked, “How do you deal with loneliness? Why aren’t you married?” Jung Woo Sung honestly replied, “It’s not that I chose not to get married, but rather that I missed the right timing.”
He continued, “I was the first actor in the entertainment industry to come out publicly [with dating news].” He revealed that he had a girlfriend, making him the first to do so [he’s referring to his relationship with Lee Ji Ah, from The Penthouse series]. Jung Woo Sung expressed sympathy, saying, “I feel sorry for actors and celebrities. They are just ordinary people, so why can’t they have someone just because of their fame?”
