Actor Joo Jong Hyuk has been cast in the upcoming JTBC drama “No Secrets” (working title) and has started filming.
On June 28, his agency confirmed Joo Jong Hyuk will play the lead role in “No Secrets,” a comedic melo drama that revolves around the life-changing encounter between Song Ki-baek (played by Go Kyung Pyo), an anchor who becomes an uncontrollable Hulk, and On Woo-joo (played by Kang Hanna), a passionate and lively variety show writer.
In the drama, Joo Jong Hyuk will portray Kim Jeong-heon, an entertainer known as the “National Protector” in the entertainment industry. Kim Jeong-heon is a star variety show host with a relaxed charm and a flair for engaging in conversations that sway back and forth. He happens to be On Woo-joo’s ex-boyfriend and also a high school classmate of Song Ki-baek. Their paths cross again after Song Ki-baek declares himself as a freelancer, making them rivals.
Joo Jong Hyuk showcased his dynamic acting skills through the lively character of Kwon Min-woo in the highly discussed 2022 drama “Strange Lawyer Woo-Young-woo.” In this new project, he will transform into a star variety show host and showcase a new charm without hesitation.
Joo Jong Hyuk recently wrapped up filming for an upcoming movie and is preparing for the release of another.
