The drama “Boyhood” has confirmed its first release on November 24th at 8 PM, and has unveiled the first poster that captures the charm of Im Siwan.
The first poster that has been released showcases Im Siwan standing confidently with determined eyes, instantly captivating the viewers. Holding a bachelor’s hat in one hand and a shovel in the other, his presence exudes a combination of strength and insignificance, creating a unique and captivating charm. Set against the backdrop of the 1980s Chungcheong Province Buyeo Agricultural High School, anticipation is building for Im Siwan’s dramatic transformation as he becomes the gang leader of Onyang, a former loser, in “Boyhood.” The simple yet clear caption, “ga-boneunggyeo,” promises a delightful and powerful performance with flavorful dialogue in the Chungcheong Province dialect, offering enjoyable entertainment and strong laughter.
Im Siwan is joined by Lee Sun Bin, Lee Si Woo, and Kang Hye Won. Directed by Lee Myung-woo, behind popular works such as “Backstreet Rookie,” and the Coupang Play series “One Fine Day,” the drama will present an exciting story depicting the struggles of a former loser named “Byungtae” as he suddenly becomes the leader of his school, accompanied by a variety of retro sentiments from the 1980s.
