Forbes Korea Announces The Top 40 Power Celebrities In Korea Of 2019

Forbes has finally announced the annual list of its top 40 power celebrities in Korea for 2019.

Forbes ranked the celebrities based on four different aspects: media exposure, activities on broadcast, earnings, and social media. They ranked male and female idol groups as well as actors, comedians, and others.

Up until 2019, Forbes Korea used three aspects to rank celebrities: media, earnings, and broadcasts, this is the first year they add ‘social media’ category.

The social media category was based on statistics from celebrities’ official accounts across all known social media platforms: V Live, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

It’s important to note that any celebrities who are currently involved in controversy have been excluded.
