Director Lee Chung Hyun has answered various questions about his recently released movie “Ballerina” in a new interview and touched on the subject of his dating life!
‘Ballerina’ is a film that deals with illegal filming and the exploitation of women, its led by Jeon Jong Seo who also happens to be in a relationship with the director.
In March 2021, director Lee Chung Hyun officially confirmed his relationship with Jeon Jong Seo. Despite being referred to as ” Jeon Jong Seo’s boyfriend,” director Lee Chung Hyun stated, “I have never regretted publicly acknowledging our relationship.”
Director Lee Chung Hyun added, “We were already dating at that time, but no one asked us about it, and no one wrote an article about it. Even if it became public, we had no intention of denying it.”
As they have been in a public relationship for a long time, questions about marriage plans arose. Director Lee Chung Hyun expressed a cautious stance, saying, “If the timing is right for both of us, we might consider it, but we don’t have any specific plans yet.”
In the interview, director Lee Chung Hyun expressed his hopes for ‘Ballerina,’ saying, “I think it is a revenge drama with meaning. I hope viewers can feel a sense of relief. Although it is an action genre, I hope it provided a meaningful catharsis, and I hope many people watch it.”
