KBS’ new drama “Bloody Heart” debuts to a strong start!
According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of KBS’ new drama “Bloody Heart” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.3%. Already surpassing its predecessor “Crazy Love” last episode rating of 4.6%.
In addition, one of the reasons for the drama’s successful start might be because it is the only Monday-Tuesday drama airing at 9:30 p.m. KST.
“Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about Lee Tae, who becomes the king of Joseon and dreams of absolute monarchy. The drama stars Lee Joon as Lee Tae, he man who aims to strengthen his authority by getting rid of a man named Park Kye Won and his subjects. Kang Han Na as Yoo Jung, a free-spirited woman who Lee Tae is in love with. And Jang Hyuk as Park Kye Won, who will be involved in an intense conflict with Lee Tae and is a known symbol of power and a figure everyone respects and obeys.
