Nam Yoon Su Cast As Lead In Upcoming Kakao Tv Drama Based On A Webtoon

Published Categorized as Kdrama and Movies

Nam Yoon Su is leading the upcoming drama “Borrowed Body” (literal title)!

“Borrowed Body” is based on a webtoon of the same title written by Park Se Gye, it is a fantasy mystery school romance about two polar opposite students who end up switching bodies. Lee Sang Yoo is an outsider who is hated by the entire school after being falsely accused of something, while Ki Da Rim is well-liked, popular, and good at both sports and studies.

The drama will focus on the fantasy element as well as the passionate modern-day love of teenagers as they mature into adulthood.

Nam Yoon Su will play the role of Lee Sang Yoo, he has no expectations from his school or his friends and hopes to complete his 3rd year of high school without any issues. However, he’s caught in an unexpected incident as he ends up switching bodies with childhood friend and crush Ki Da Rim

This will mark Nam Yoon Su’s first-ever leading role, he debuted in the Netflix drama “Extracurricular” and recently starred as Lee Hyun in “The King’s Affection.”

My personal thoughts- written by Jass K.

Body-switching type of plots are always fun to watch.

Nam Yoon Su caught my attention in “Extracurricular” and considering the fact that it was his debut project, he did so well. He has a bright future ahead of him.

I don’t really watch high-school based kdramas much but I am willing to make an exception for Nam Yoon Su.

I also have to say, I really like the format Kakao TV is using with their original content. Such type of plots don’t need 16 1-hour long episodes. I am glad the episodes will be only 20 minutes long, that’s a great choice.

Excited to see this one.
