Young Actor Nam Da Reum is enlisting in the military this February!

Actor Nam Da Reum surprised fans by sharing the news via his Instagram account that is run by him and his mother. The announcement came on January 31st, his mother wished everyone a happy Lunar new year and said her son who hasn’t left her side for more than 3 days will be going away for 18 months.

Actor Nam Da Reum revealed in the post that he’s personally wanted to enlist in the military as soon as he turned 20, he’s currently 19 years in international age.

Nam Da Reum will enlist on February 8.

The news came as a shock to fans because most Korean celebrities usually would rather delay their enlistment until their late 20s. Nam Da Reum is taking on a different approach.

Nam Da Reum was born in 2002 and is one of the most popular child-turned-adult actors, he’s been acting since 2009. Nam Da Reum’s last project before his military enlistment will be the 2022 TVING drama “Strange” which airs in the first half of 2022.
